We are totally keen on exploring water falls. So on Day 12 of our Philippines Tour we went back to the Mount Isarog Area. We wanted to find the Secret Falls, which is the second waterfall we visited on Mount Isarog.
Read here about our first visit to Mount Isarog: Malabsay Falls
Again we took a Jeepney, heading in the direction of Panicuason. 50 Php for two pax.
This time we went off at the crossing to the Hot Spring Resort. From there we walked towards Panicuason on the Main Road and took the next road on the right hand side.
On the main road you will find a map showing secret falls, which gives you a rough idea where to go to. When you see this map turn right and walk down that road.
So we walked and walked and actually only knew the rough direction but had no clue when to turn off the road.

I do not know, how far we walked. The best is ask your way through. The locals are very friendly.
If you see this piece of land on your left hand side, then turn in this small way. We stopped in front of this property, as we believed we were lost. We asked some locals for the way and they told us, that it is very difficult to find. We said we will find it on our own and walked in the direction which they showed us. Suddenly we saw that the land owners had sent their son after us to show us the way.
Very nice. And soon we found out, it would have been impossible to find the way alone.
Our guide.
We walked and walked and walked, deeper into the jungle.
As we live in Abu Dhabi, we could not get enough from this green. :D
In the beginning the way was quite easy to walk. But it got rougher and rougher. So watch your step.
Finally we arrived at the river.
I tried to keep my feet dry.
It lastet maybe 5 metres. :D
Told you! You will get wet feet.
And here we go! Secret Falls!
The water is more than cold. But indeed refreshing after that walk. Watch the rocks in the water. Might hurt a bit if you slip on them.
It is a very peaceful place. You can relax, swim or do BBQ there.
We had a refreshing bath and some rest. Then we walked back. Our guide showed us the way again.
Beautiful nature everywhere.
Usually I am quite lazy. But this time I enjoyed walking too much. You see so many things when you walk.
Pitstop.

Petrol Station. Even if you come with your aircraft, you can refuel it here with some Kerosene.
We walked and walked, not many people around us and suddenly this guy showed up. We could not resist and bought some icecream.
We walked towards Naga and after a while jumped onto a Jeepney back to Naga.
In Naga it was time to regain some power.
